I was wondering the other day how long it’s going to take before Firefox or Safari comes with a built-in Wikipedia search function. I’m guessing not very long. Wikipedia isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough when it counts; that is, when you’re “on the go” and need very basic information, very quickly, about something obscure.
Wikipedia will get better when the academe are more actively involved, just like what our prof is proposing.
